Limited Edition Prints
My limited editions are museum-quality fine art prints, created with top grade pigment inks on archival paper to give a true likeness of the original painting. Fine details are captured down to the lightest brushstrokes and there is a precise accuracy of tone and colour. Editions are restricted to 200 identical prints, each one complete with a hand signed certificate individually numbered with a Megan Young Fine Art seal. Framed prints are sealed and strung with strong cord attached to the back so they are ready to hang on the wall.
Original Paintings
Original artworks are painted on Saunders Waterford High White watercolour paper, with paints from the Winsor and Newton professional watercolour range. This combination provides excellent protection against discolouration, maintaining a true permanence where the colours won’t change or fade over a long period of time. Original paintings are expertly framed, ready to hang straight on the wall. Each one is complete with a signed certificate attached to the back of the frame, showing the authenticity of the artwork.
Original paintings selected to be reproduced as limited edition prints will only be used for that purpose. No more than 200 high quality prints will ever be produced, to keep the image scarce, and hence more valuable. For this same reason, a painting replicated as a limited edition print will never be seen in any other form such as greeting cards, calendars, mugs or other items.
